we had this ganesh festival (festival to celebrate lord ganesh). when u actually see them celebrating, it looks more like another lame oppurtunity to indulge in loud music, dancing and boozing than actualy theism. how many of these mofots actually believe in god, actually live the path of the lord or are even good human beings ?? 5%? 10%? cant be more than that.

so when i say things like this, the inevitable question always follows - are u an atheist ?
like a smart ass i answer the question with an own question of mine - what is god ? some of them give give practical responses and some just search for words.

atheism is not about 'a - theism' or complete disbelief in something, but its more of a disbelief in conventions or traditions which seem a wee bit hard to digest.

Prayer they say is a hope and Hope i have said earlier is the illogical belief in the happening of the improbable. maybe this creates some sort of strife but having been in a lot of crappy and fuked up situations, i believe that probably by letting go, more peace is maintained. its probably more important to sit down, THINK and try to get some damn clarity about the whole stuff.

probably the difference between theism and atheism is theists tend to find peace in god, while i tend to find peace with myself. so in the end, it doesnt really matter as long as u dont force one of it on others.
